The photos you see here, is a reflection of intentionality and showing up.
My sister and I started off as strangers. I had no doubt she loved me, and I love her deeply. But I could innerstand the rage she had towards me. I mean it’s is not nice to leave in someone’s shadow.
She is intelligent, kind and very loving, after all her human design incarnation mission is to express LOVE!.
Growing up she was always compared to me, and yhuu my standards are so high. An A+ student who is here in this world to rebel.
To some degree, her best seemed like nothing compared to my bare minimum and even our parents without meaning to, would always ask ‘why can’t you be like your sister’, or she would here ‘your sister, this and that.
Her tragedy became when she became a mom at a tender age, ‘before her sister’, the disappointment we all carried even me as the sister I was very mad at her, and that clouded us from seeing the gift 🎁 that she carried.
Ofcourse we had ‘decided her life already’ and had ‘bigger dreams without checking in with her soul first’.
Against all odds, she went back to matric after giving birth and worked so hard all the way to obtaining an honors degree!!.
Only then did I start realising that, her soul chose her path and instead of turning her into a mini me, how about I nurture those wings until they could fully embrace flying.
I started involving her in my ‘world of inner work’, at first she was looking so overwhelmed but tried so hard to fake it with the hope to make it.
She couldn’t hear me, but she chose to listen anyway because, we were taught to never underestimate the power of planting a seed, especially because she had the willingness to innerstand.
After years of journeying together, she finally got it, she knew I wasn’t her teacher, as a rebel I was just here to shock her world so that she feels uncomfortable with the narrative and status quo and found her teacher.
2026 May 22-24 marked our 2nd annual SOPHA retreat!! And the woman I am looking at now, has transformed and is soaring so high.
I am sharing this ofcourse to invite you to our November retreat in Belabela, BUT most importantly, I hope I inspire you to not give up on yourself or family members whom you know at the core that they are doing their best with what they know and have at this moment.
Let’s be patient and compassionate with those seeking to rise from the ashes like a phoenix because every one’s medicine is so necessary at this turning point of our Mother Earth.
